Quinte West OPP have laid impaired driving charges following an incident in the city.
According to OPP, officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Adrian Court at around 8 a.m on Wednesday.
The driver was arrested and brought to the detachment for testing.
Twenty-three-year-old Caleb Walsh of Frankford was charged with the following:
- Operation while impaired – drugs
- Driving while under suspension
- Having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on April 16, 2026.
His vehicle was impounded for seven days, and licence suspended for 90 days.
