Lennox and Addington County OPP have charged a person with several criminal and provincial charges following a traffic stop overnight.
OPP spotted a vehicle travelling over 150km/h on County Road 2 in Loyalist Township just after midnight on Tuesday.
Officers stopped the vehicle and following an investigation, the driver was arrested.
Twenty-year-old Jesse Henderson from Loyalist Township was charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
- Breach of probation
- Stunt driving
- Novice driver – BAC above zero
- Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
- Obstruct plate
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on April 14, 2026.
His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle was impounded.
