The sold out gala for The Children’s Foundation’s is still going ahead, this despite a change in the evening.
TCF Board Chair Jack Miller tells Quinte News this year’s Guardian Angel Sam Brady has withdrawn his name from recognition.
Miller says this is due to a personal situation.
Saturday’s celebration entitled A Night in Eire will still go ahead as planned.
Miller says the focus of the evening remains children and youth in the region.
He adds that it is a vital fundraiser that supports programs helping young people across Hastings, Northumberland, and Prince Edward County.
