Belleville police arrested one person in connection with a downtown break and enter.
An employee arrived at work Thursday morning and observed an unknown male leaving the premises.
A door was damaged.
Officers identified a suspect through surveillance footage.
It was also discovered that the suspect had conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
Later in the day, police responded to a disturbance at another business and, upon arrival, located the suspect from the earlier incident.
A 31-year-old unidentified Belleville man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with break and enter and fail to comply with a probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
