Child porn charges have been laid against a Peterborough man following an investigation by Northumberland OPP.
In November, police received a complaint regarding online communications involving child pornography.
Following an almost three-month investigation, the Northumberland Crime Unit took one person into custody.
Thirty-one-year-old Jonathan Hunter from Peterborough, was charged with:
· Makes, prints, publishes or possesses for the purpose of publication, any child sexual abuse and exploitation material
· Imports, distributes, sells or possesses for the purpose of distribution or sale, of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
