Michaud’s mother Lisa Fralick (from Foxboro) spoke to Quinte News moments after the skate.
“It’s mind boggling, it’s mind blowing. I was sitting with Lea’s (Pereira) parents and we all were just like, this is our life right now, our kids are in 3rd at the Olympics. They skated beautifully, I couldn’t be more proud of both of them. You’re going to make me cry again.”

Fralick says she can feel the support an ocean away
“The entire time I’ve been here. From back home everybody’s just been amazing and the support, it’s an entire city, community, and province is been behind these kids. It’s just all coming together for these kids.”
The Free Program begins at 2:00 p.m. EST, with Michaud and Pereira as the 3rd final pair
