The Trenton Golden Hawks filled the net at the Duncan MacDonald Community Gardens Friday night, trouncing the Caledon Admirals 9-2.
Jack Ziliotto scored a hat trick and was the first star of the game. Six other G-Hawks shared the rest of the scoring.
Trenton outshot Caledon 45 to 39 in front of 658 fans. The Golden Hawks next game is Sunday at 2:30 in North York.
On Saturday, the Wellington Dukes will be on the road playing the Haliburton County Huskies at 4 p.m.
In the American Hockey League Saturday, the Hershey Bears visit the CAA Arena and the Belleville Senators. Puck drops at 7.
In Jr. C action Friday Napanee beat Lakefield 4-1. Saturday it’s Trent Hills visiting Frankford at 7 p.m. while Picton will be Port Hope at 7:30.
In the Northern Premier League it’s playoff time. The Tweed Oil Kings visit the Westport Lumberjacks at 4:30 while Deseronto will be on the road taking on Wellington County at 7:30.
