A source has told Quinte News that one person has been arrested after a social media post was made earlier on Friday that made vague threats regarding Trenton High School.
In a post on Facebook, East Region OPP say Quinte West OPP officers attended the school and found no indication of a credible threat.
Police say they are working closely with school officials and that public safety is their top priority.
The news comes after a youth was arrested after a potential threat to the safety of East Northumberland Secondary School in Brighton on Thursday.
Both reported threats also come following the recent shooting in Tumbler Ridge, BC where eight people were killed and 25 others were injured.
