The City of Quinte West has announced that Old Wooler Road from Store Street to Telephone Road will be closed to traffic on Thursday from approximately 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for watermain maintenance.
Old Wooler Road will remain open to local traffic only.
All through-traffic, including emergency vehicles, will be detoured.
Northbound traffic will be detoured using the following route: north on Water Street and west onto Telephone Road at the roundabout.
Southbound traffic will be detoured using the following route: east on Telephone Road and south onto Water Street (also referred to as Trenton Street) at the roundabout.
