An overview of Belleville’s 2026 operating budget is set to be presented to Belleville City Council on Monday.
In a presentation set to be delivered by the city’s Director of Finance/Treasurer Brandon Ferguson, it outlines the tax impact for the five tax tables in the municipality, including Belleville Urban, Belleville Rural, Cannifton Urban, Cannifton Rural, and Cannifton Rural to Urban.
In the presentation, the annual increase based, on a $250,000 residential assessment, would be broken down as follows:
