A man who was at large for close to a month has been apprehended north of Tweed.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad released details Monday about 31-year-old Tanner Sweet.
Tanner Sweet is serving a two-year and one-day sentence for:
- Break, enter and commit theft
- Theft of motor vehicle
- Prohibited driving
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
He was known to frequent Kingston, Belleville, Madoc, Kaladar, and Tweed, and was apprehended in Flinton.
Sweet was located and arrested by the ROPE Squad with assistance from the Lennox and Addington OPP Detachment, the OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP K9 Unit.
