Quinte’s Best Variety Mix 97 helped make one person $10,000 richer on the weekend.
At the Quinte Mall Saturday, 20 contestants leaned against a brand new Volkswagen ID. Buzz, with the last remaining contestant winning the cash.

During “Butt’s on the Buzz”, eight contestants went the distance, lasting nearly eight hours, meaning those that survived were put into a draw.
Chiara Free had her name pulled from the bucket just before the mall’s closure.
On Monday, Free told Sean and Mariam that she was sore afterwards, but in the end the effort was worth it.
She added that a great support system gathered around her at Kindness Court in the Quinte Mall and that made a huge difference.
