Bancroft OPP recently arrested two people for breaching probation conditions in Bancroft.
Police arrested one individual on Sunday.
A search resulted in the discovery of suspected methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl.
As a result, Heidi Brethour, 45, of Bancroft has been charged with:
· Fail to Comply with a probation order – 3 counts
· Fail to comply with a release order – 5 counts
· Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
The accused was held for bail and remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Tuesday.
Sunday evening officers on general patrol observed another wanted party.
A search was conducted and a small amount of drugs were located.
As a result, Ashely Shaw, 35, of Bancroft has been charged with the following:
· Fail to Comply with a probation order – 4 counts
· Possession of a Schedule I substance
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on March 3.
