There were more arrests on Tuesday as Tyendinaga Mohawk Police along with several OPP units continue their investigation into marijuana-growing operations believed to be linked to organized crime groups.
Tyendinaga police issued a statement Tuesday morning saying joint operations would be continuing.
A couple of hours later, another statement was released saying that two suspects were arrested and five others fled on foot as police executed a search warrant.
With the assistance of OPP specialty units TRU, ERT and K9, all outstanding suspects were located and taken into custody without incident.
Police say all seven people taken into custody are non-community members.
Late last month police announced they had seized 72,000 plants valued at around $122 million along with firearms from several properties on the reserve.
Prior to Tuesday, 10 people had been arrested with six of them being from areas outside of Tyendinaga.
