Belleville police have charged a Belleville woman with theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property.
Police responded to an east end retail store around 5 p.m. on Thursday regarding a theft.
The suspect was located and arrested.
It was discovered the female also had two outstanding warrants and was arrested on those warrants.
The accused was held for a show cause hearing and is set to appear in court later on Friday.
