The OPP are investigating a serious single vehicle crash that happened Sunday in Port Hope.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., police, Northumberland OPP, firefighters and paramedics were called to the crash on the fifth line between Grist Hill Road and Barrie Road.
According to police the crash involved one vehicle that went off the road.
Two people in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and one was emergency airlifted from the scene via Ornge air ambulance.
The fifth line remained closed for several hours while OPP technical collision investigators examined the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
