Arrest on Warrants
On April 16, 2021, at 3:01 p.m., police attended at an apartment complex on Bridge Street West regarding an intoxicated female in the hallway. Police attended and located the female. A further check indicated that the female, 43-year-old Melissa Meilleur of Belleville, was wanted on warrants for fail to attend court, theft under $5000, fail to comply with appearance notice x 2, fail to appear for fingerprints, assault, and mischief. She was released on an undertaking with a court date of June 3, 2021.
Mischief
On April 16, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., police attended an address on Pine Street regarding mischief. The homeowner reported that at 3:00 a.m. he heard a noise coming from the front of the house. When he looked at the front window he discovered that it had been cracked after an egg was thrown at it. There are no suspects at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Belleville Police Service.
