The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board says a student at Centennial Secondary School in Belleville has tested positive for COVID-19, while another is listed as “probable” and is awaiting test results.
In a Twitter post on Thursday evening the school board says close contacts of both students have been notified.
Anyone else considered to be a low-risk exposure was sent a letter from the school board, which you can read below.
This is the seventh positive case within the board this week, with three students at North Trenton Public School testing positive last Saturday and one student each from Eastside Secondary School, Centre Hastings Secondary School and Madoc Public School getting positive test results on Wednesday.
