A full burn ban has been put in place in Prince Edward County.
Fire Chief Robert Rutter says the ban has been implemented “due to extremely dry and combustible ground cover” and that means there is no outdoor burning allowed, including brush fires, campfires, or burn barrels.
Chief Rutter says fire officials will continue to monitor the conditions and will lift the ban once conditions improve.
