Local demand for COVID-19 vaccinations has been high this week, with all local clinics being run by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health now full.
Health Unit spokesperson Maureen Hyland tells Quinte News that they have submitted new clinic dates to the province and it takes a few days for those to get approved and added to the provincial booking site.
Hyland says those new clinics should be available for booking by mid-next week and that information will be shared with media partners, and on social media, when it’s available.
HPE Public Health is encouraging anyone eligible for a vaccine to continue to check the provincial site regularly, with health officials also asking everyone to be patient, saying everyone who wants a vaccine will get one, but it will take some time to roll those doses out.
You can click here to visit the provincial vaccine booking website, or call the vaccine hot line at 1-833-943-3900, for more information.
