A 47-year-old man has been charged after an alleged shoplifting incident at a Trenton store on Tuesday.
Quinte West OPP were called around 8:45 p.m. after the alleged theft from a store on 2nd Dug Hill Road and located the suspect behind a business on Dundas Street West, where they say they found the stolen property.
Terry Allan, of no fixed address, was charged with theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with an undertaking.
He was released with a court date on May 13 in Belleville.
