The time-honoured tradition of dropping a paper ballot into a box on election day could become a thing of the past in the City of Quinte West.
City staff is recommending that the 2022 municipal election be completely digital and done online.
Internet voting has become more and more popular and is seen as the most convenient way for people to vote.
There would still be a couple of in-person advance and election day polls but voting at those would also be done electronically.
Quinte West council will deal with the issue Monday.
