Quinte West council threw its support behind an important social services initiative at its meeting Monday.
211 is a help line for people in need of assistance with social services ranging from disabilities, food insecurity, mental health and beyond. Quinte West council approved joining the national celebration of “211 Day” on February 11 to raise awareness for the service and people in need of social service assistance.
