A Sault Ste Marie man is in custody after being found without vital signs in Belleville last Thursday night.
Hastings Quinte paramedics along with city police attended a north end hotel to find the 25-year-old needing urgent medical care.
Paramedics revived the man and he was taken to Belleville General Hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, police learned the man was wanted in his hometown on spousal assault, mischief, and breach of probation charges.
After being released from hospital the man was taken into custody pending a court appearance September 8.
