Belleville Police say there was no criminal incident connected to a section of College Street East being shut down Tuesday afternoon.
Officers had shut down a section of the road between North Front and North Park streets around 2:00 p.m. for an investigation and cleared the scene close to two hours later.
A BPS spokesperson tells Quinte News that their investigation revealed nothing criminal, no charges would be laid and no further details would be released.
