Prince Edward County has awarded a tender for the next stage of the County Road 3 reconstruction project.
Council discussed the tender during Tuesday’s meeting of council.
This phase of work will take place over an approximately 1.1km section of road starting at 1460 County Road 3 and continuing until 1668 County Road 3.
The work was tendered to Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. for a total of $1,226,654.30. Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. was the lowest of the 7 bidders.
Construction is expected to be completed by September.
