Two more people have been arrested after another police drug raid in east end Belleville Wednesday, getting more hard drugs off the street.
Officers from the city police Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team and Ontario Provincial Police raided the home around 9:00 a.m. seizing a quantity of purple heroin, Fentanyl and crystal meth.
Twenty-eight-year-old Daniel Downer and 33-year-old Robyn Welch, both of Belleville, are each charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
Welch was released on a promise to appear in court on March 25, while Downer was held in custody for a March 4 bail hearing.
