The Ottawa Senators have made another trade directly affecting the AHL club in Belleville.
The Sens have swapped forwards with the Colorado Avalanche, sending Max McCormick to the Avs, in exchange for 21 year-old J.C. Beaudin.
A 6’2”, 187 pound native of Longueuil Quebec, Beaudin has six goals and seven assists in 42 games with Colorado’s AHL affiliate this season.
He has a QMJHL championship on his resume with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, as well as an ECHL Kelly Cup championship with the Colorado Eagles last season, before they made the jumped to the AHL this season.
