A Belleville woman has been charged with sex-related offences by city police.
The Criminal Investigations Branch started looking into the case in June of last year, after a victim came forward alleging incidents of sexual misconduct, dating back to 2012 and 2013.
Two victims were identified by investigators, who have charged 48-year-old Sandra Forcier with two counts each of sexual assault and sexual exploitation on a youth, as well as one count of sexual interference.
She was arrested on January 29 and was released on a promise to appear in court on February 28.
Forcier is also under a number of conditions as part of her release.
Anyone who might have information on Forcier, or the investigation, is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Pat Kellar at the Belleville Police Service (613 966-0882 Ext 2328 or pkellar@police.belleville.on.ca)..
