Thanks to a generous donation from Pet Smart Charities Canada, cats being looked after at the Quinte Humane Society have much nicer lives as they wait to be adopted.
The funding from Pet Smart has allowed the purchase of so-called cat condos which are two level large enclosures which give the cats about three times the room of the usual cat cages.
The Quinte Humane Society is a non-profit organization that helps around 2,200 animals a year.
Donations are always welcome.
