Two men are wanted by OPP after a robbery in Prince Edward County yesterday.
Investigators say a county man was walking on Main Street in Picton when he was approached by two men in a car.
One of the men demanded he turn over his backpack and threatened to hurt him if he didn’t, while the driver of the car indicated he had a weapon.
The man handed over the bag and wasn’t hurt.
A bulletin was put out for the suspect vehicle, which was seen by Tyendinaga Police, who started a chase, before the car crashed into a ditch and the suspects ran from the scene.
A search by the K-9 Unit was unsuccessful and investigators found the car had also been stolen from a home in Tyendinaga Township.
The driver is described as a white man, around 20 years old, wearing a hat and a camo coloured jacket or shirt.
The passenger is believed to be a man, who was wearing a green jacket with the hood up.
Anyone with information can contact OPP or Crimestoppers.
