Hundreds of people spent the day at Trenton’s Farmers’ Market drinking in the 2017 Hops on the Water Craft Beer festival.
The event featured about a dozen craft beer and food vendors, music and entertainment.
Some patrons were even lucky enough to receive a commemorative beer glass.
Mayor Jim Harrison was thrilled with the turnout and hopes the event can become a regular attraction for Quinte West.
MPP Lou Rinaldi also told the crowd he’s introduced a bill in the legislature to make the second week of June Micro Breweries Week and is waiting for it to go through the process.
The event runs until 7:00 tonight.
