Kenny Ferrill is being remembered by his family for his kind heart and a willingness to help others.
The 43-year-old Tyendinaga Territory man was shot and killed on Sunday. Ferrill died in hospital after he was shot in the abdomen at a residence on Deserontyon Drive on the Territory. Brandon Phillip George Baptiste, 25, is charged with first degree murder, pointing a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm in connection with the shooting.
In a Go Fund Me fundraising campaign, Ferrill’s family said they lost a brother, uncle, father, grandfather, spouse and friend to an unexpected tragedy and are asking for help with the cost of funeral expenses.
