A suspect is in custody after a violent robbery at a Trenton store overnight. Quinte West OPP responded to the Dundas Street business, at 11:33, where the clerk had been assaulted and a large amount of money stolen from the register. The lone suspect fled on foot. The OPP canine and Emergency Response teams searched the area and arrested a 30-year old suspect. He’s been charged with robbery and is being held for a bail hearing this afternoon.
