A spree of residential breakins in Belleville.
City Police say homes were broken into yesterday on Byron, Station and Octavia Streets, and on Hastings Drive. Electronics, bolt cutters, a leaf blower and a camouflage coat were stolen.
Meanwhile, lottery tickets were taken from a vehicle parked on Maple Drive, and a woman who left her purse for just a moment to put money into the parking meter at a lot on Dundas Street East returned to find the purse was gone.
