The Belleville Theatre Guild has accepted an $8,800 donation from 100 Men Who Care Quinte to kick off their 75th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign.
The donation follows a vote by the 100 members of 100 Men Who Care Quinte, who voted to direct this quarter’s donation to the theatre guild.
The 75th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign for the theatre guild is raising funds to address critical infrastructure needs at the Pinnacle Playhouse. Funds will be used to replace aging sound and lighting equipment and complete necessary electrical work to support the continued operation of the theatre.
“We are incredibly grateful that 100 Men Who Care Quinte chose to support the Belleville Theatre Guild,” said Kathleen Manderville, President of the Belleville Theatre Guild. “The fact that 100 individuals came together and voted to invest in community theatre sends a powerful message about the value of the arts in our region. This generous contribution is a wonderful way to launch our 75th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign, and it will help us protect and improve the theatre that has brought our community together for generations.”
The Belleville Theatre Guild thanked 100 Men Who Care Quinte for their contribution, kick-starting their campaign.
