Generous donors across Hastings, Prince Edward, and Northumberland Counties stepped up Wednesday to raise over $41,000 during the seventh annual Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon.
Local airwaves came alive for 12 hours straight as radio stations shared moving stories of local children supported by The Children’s Foundation.
While money is still pouring in from community events, residents still have time to contribute through an online auction running until noon Thursday.
Organizers say every dollar raised goes directly toward transforming the lives of area youth in need.
