Sunflowers vandalized at R.T. Potter Park

The City of Belleville says the 14-foot-tall sunflowers at R.T. Potter Park were recently vandalized.

The city says that its floral crew works hard to plant, maintain and care for all the gardens and floral displays across Belleville and that vandalism not only damages public spaces, but also undoes months of hard work put in by the floral crew.

The city is calling on the community to help take care of local parks.
