Agriculture enthusiasts, families, and local food lovers are invited to connect with the
region’s farming community during the 2026 Farms Open event, taking place from
Friday, September 11 through to Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Farms Open is a self-guided regional tour celebrating local farms, agritourism
businesses, and agricultural heritage across Belleville, Quinte West, and Hastings
County.
Visitors can explore participating locations to meet passionate local growers
and producers, discover unique artisanal products, and get a behind-the-scenes look at
the vital industry powering the region.
This year’s lineup features 17 unique stops, including four markets, 11 growers,
producers, and agritourism businesses, one local agricultural museum, and a featured
culinary event.
Participating locations are across Quinte West, City of Belleville and
Hastings County.
Event schedule:
• Friday, Sept. 11 (4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.): Official event kick-off at the Farmers’
Market in the Township of Stirling-Rawdon (exclusive participating location for
Friday evening).
• Saturday, Sept. 12 (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.): Self-guided tour across
participating regional locations.
• Sunday, Sept. 13 (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.): Self-guided tour across participating
regional locations.
Note: Participating stops vary between Saturday and Sunday. Visitors are encouraged
to review the online directory to confirm specific farm schedules before heading out.
Farms Open is produced through a regional collaboration between Harvest Hastings,
Hastings County, the City of Quinte West, the City of Belleville, and the Bay of Quinte
Regional Marketing Board.
