Officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual following reports of person brandishing a firearm in Frankford.
On Thursday, August 27, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with a firearm in a public place.
Officers apprehended the suspect and were able to take him into custody without incident.
As a result, Dylan WILSON, 34 years old of Quinte West has been charged with:
- Possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Carrying a concealed weapon
- Failure to comply with a release order- two counts
