Paul Rushforth, a former member of the Belleville Bulls, has passed away.
Rushforth played for the Bulls midway through the 1992-93 season after playing for the North Bay Centennials and a full season for the Bulls in the 93-94 season.
During his three year major junior career, Rushforth recorded 136 points, including 61 goals and 75 assists, over 185 regular season games.
His final season with the Bulls saw him put up 28 goals and 35 assists.
After playing professional hockey for nine season, Rushforth would become a prominent real estate broker in Ottawa and was a longtime co-host of Newtalk 580 CFRA’s Open House.
