Downtown Belleville’s second annual Savour the Sips non-alcoholic drink competition saw hundreds of people try delicious drinks on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
Twelve restaurants participated in the event.
People could try tasty beverages for only $2 each and cast their votes for their favourites.
The 2026 Savour The Sips winning line up is:
Judges Choice:
1st Place: The Lark, “Pearl’s Dreamsicle”
2nd Place: Indian Vibe, “Mango Masala Mojito”
3rd Place: The Kafana, “Once In A Blue Moon”
Peoples Choice:
1st Place: BayLeaf Authentic Indian Cuisine, “BayLeaf Rose Piña Colada”
2nd Place: The Kafana, “Once In A Blue Moon”
3rd Place: Tropical Blends, “Mango Orange Creamsicle Smoothie”
This year’s event also featured a special partnership with the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward pup cups available at Century Village to keep four-legged friends cool with donations being accepted for HSHPE.
The next Downtown BIA event is the Caribbean Festival on August 15 from 12 – 8 p.m.
The next Savour The Series event is Savour The Flavour, a mac and cheese competition on October 3.
