A motorcyclist was killed after a collision involving a dump truck early Wednesday evening in Quinte West.
The collision occurred at around 6 p.m. on Old Highway 2 at CFB Trenton.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
The highway was closed to traffic near the base for an investigation.
Quinte West OPP and firefighters responded along with Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services.
