Provincial, community and municipal representatives joined students, staff and trustees from the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board last week in officially opening the addition at Murray Centennial Public School.
Made possible through $11.1 million in provincial funding, the 22,000 square foot addition includes three new kindergarten classrooms, four regular classrooms, staff and student collaborative spaces, outdoor play spaces and a new septic system at the school.
