In response to recent high temperatures, Quinte West is opening a cooling centre at The Dunc.
The cooling centre will be open daily, starting today and continuing through Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
The City of Quinte West activates a cooling centre at the Trenton arena when there are two consecutive days of temperatures of 31 degrees or higher or humidex values of 35 degrees Celsius or higher.
Splash pads are also open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in both Trenton and Frankford.
