Quinte Legion Lynx Athletes capture 4 of 5 local medals at OFSAA Track and Field Championships in St Catherines.
Over the past 5 years Quinte Legion Lynx Track Club members have claimed 19 of 23 medals at OFSAA by local Bay of Quinte athletes.

Josh Thomas of Bayside Secondary continued the tradition capturing a silver medal, his second ever at OFSAA in Senior Boys High Jump with a leap of 1.95m.
Charlee Sage St Theresa’s claimed her second medal in two years, a bronze in Junior Girls Pole Vault, with a personal best jump of 3.20 m.

Emma Bolton, Nicholson won her first OFSAA medal, a Bronze in Novice Girls Pole Vault with a vault of 2.70 m.
Isla Bibby, Bayside Secondary finally broke through to claim her first ever medal at OFSAA in 4 years of trying, a Bronze in Senior Girls Pole Vault with a jump of 3.65 m.

The final medal for local Bay of Quinte athletes was won by Abraham Lupilli of Centennial Secondary, a Bronze in Junior Boys High Jump of 1.85 m.

Other Top 10 finishes for Legion Lynx Track Club members were Tua Esekia CHSS was 5th in Junior Boys Shot Put at 14.73m.
Sydney Johnson Nicholson 6th in Senior Girls Discus 37.15 m and 10th in Shot Put 11.03m.
Hudson Brown St Theresa’s 5th in Junior Boys Pole Vault 3.45 m.
Anabelle Aucoin-Satri Bayside Secondary 8th with a distance of 2.45 m in Novice Girls Pole Vault.
Kem Kemka Bayside Secondary 9th in Senior Boys Shot Put at 13.78m.
Griffin Coffey Centennial Secondary 10th Senior Boys pole Vault 3.90m.
Next up for Quinte Legion Lynx Track Club is hosting the Royal Canadian Legion District F meet and Ontario Summer Games Qualifier, Saturday June 13th in Belleville at Bruce Faulds track, Mary Ann Sills Park.
