Multiple reports to Quinte News indicate that gun shots were fired in the Town of Bancroft on Saturday afternoon.
A scanner monitor reported to Quinte News that it took place in the downtown, however we do not know if any person was shot.
Reports indicate a vehicle had bullet holes in it, with casings also discovered.
The East Region OPP say on Saturday there was a large police presence on Hastings Street North.
No other detail are known at this time.
