A male is in stable but serious condition following a single dirt bike collision in Clarington.
Late Friday morning, Durham Regional Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on the unmaintained section of Boundary Road near Enfield Road. The 73-year-old male rider was driving his dirt bike east on the unmaintained portion of Boundary Road near Enfield Road when he lost control and struck a tree off the roadway/trail. He was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center where he remains in serious but stable condition.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
