The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation (TMHF) is inviting the community to take part in its upcoming Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Raffle, taking place during the TMHF Golf Classic on August 14, 2026, at Oak Hills Golf Club in Stirling, sponsored by Smylie’s Your Independent Grocer.
The raffle is part of the EMERGE Stronger Campaign, which supports priority medical equipment and the expansion of the Emergency Department at Trenton Memorial Hospital.
“Last year’s Helicopter Golf Ball Drop was such an exciting and memorable part of our tournament day, and we’re thrilled to bring it back even bigger this year,” said Makayla Mior, Development Coordinator at the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation
Each ticket purchased is assigned to a numbered golf ball. During the event, up to 2,500 golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter onto a target. The ball closest to the bullseye will win $7,500 CAD. Participants do not need to be present to win.
Tickets purchased before July 21 at 12:00 p.m. will also be entered into an Early Bird Draw for a Ninja FlexFlame™ BBQ package valued at $999.99, donated by Canadian Tire Trenton.
TMHF thanks County Cemetery Company – Al and Cindy Dewitt for sponsoring the Helicopter Golf Ball Drop and 1000 Islands Helicopter Tours for providing the helicopter for the event.
Community members are also encouraged to register their foursomes for the TMHF Golf Classic.
