Children’s Safety Village is preparing to hold a pair of educational events in June.
Both events will take place on June 3, with one event in the morning and the other in the evening.
Running from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. is Digital Fraud & Financial Literacy for Older Adults. The session is set to teach older residents how to avoid online scams, prevent fraudsters from stealing their account details, and how to maintain general digital safety.
Later that day in the evening, the village will host Driving Under the Influence & Distracted Driving Awareness Program for youth, teens, new drivers, and families. That starts at 6 p.m. The program aims to teach young drivers about the dangers of both impaired and distracted driving.
Both events are free to attend and will take place at the Children’s Safety Village in Belleville. Parking is available at the rear of the building.
